Make this delicious and simple 8 min air fryer miso salmon. Look how juicy it is! It’s so good with rice for a weekday or quick dinner.

Miso salmon sounds fancy, as it’s often served at finer dining restaurants, but it can be made so quickly.

It’s also much healthier than the restaurant version because there’s no added oil/fat and the sugar content is much less than what the restaurant would use.

My husband was impressed by how tasty it was.

I used frozen salmon filets from Costco that I just thawed in the fridge overnight or you can quickly thaw it under cold running water.  I love these filets because they are so versatile and pre-portioned. Each filet is huge, I shared it with my husband.

I like how each filet in this package is vacuum sealed, boneless, and skinless.  I just thawed in the fridge overnight or you can quickly thaw it under cold running water.

Each filet is 340 calories and has 37g protein. It’s perfect for 2 servings!

Salmon is a great protein option as it’s packed with healthy fats. It’s rich in omega-3 fats, which are good for heart and brain health. It’s also rich in vitamin D (bone health and immune function), B12 (nerve function and preventing anemia), and is a source of iron.

To make this marinade, just mix miso paste with brown sugar, soy sauce, and cooking wine. Coat your salmon all over with the marinade.

Let the salmon sit for 10 minutes or longer while you preheat your air fryer.

Then just air fry for 8 minutes on a piece of parchment paper- no mess for easy clean up and best of all so yummy! Cut the parchment paper to fit your salmon, so there’s no excess paper that can fly and cover your salmon in the air fryer.
